This site is not far from the Beach House above in the coastal town of Yamba. The project is a dual occupancy. The designs are mirror images of each other and offset to account for views and town planning setback requirements.

The approach is similar to the Beach House utilising intelligent orientation, operable screens, cross ventilation, covered outdoor areas, and protected glazing. Here we have upstairs living to capture views over the inlet.

There is a raised clerestory roof with louvres which increase controlled natural light as well as ‘purge’ hot air during the cooler nights.
